- Nominalization intransitive clause with verb types
Increase (rise, improve) or decrease (fall, drop, decline) and the verb “Change”
These verbs require the preposition “IN THE ” in their nominalization

Use the same method for nominalization by first changing the active voice sentences to passive voice. Transform the sentences from active to passive then nominalize them.

ReplyDeleteNominalization skills are useful for academic writing to avoid plagiarism because there are several types of creating nominalization: active clause, passive clause, gerundial, intransitive verb clause, and intransitive verb of 'decrease (fall, drop, go down, decline...etc) and increase' (improve, go up, rise, grow...etc)
